Google Scholar is a useful tool for research, especially for interdisciplinary topics. It can find journal articles, citations, theses and other scholarly publications.

You can link the college library collection to your Google Scholar search to avoid payment requests by the publishers.

When you search Google Scholar, you can apply a setting that will identify and link to full-text articles located in the Pacific Oaks College Library online collection. To do so:

  • Go to https://scholar.google.com/

  • Click on the three horizontal lines at the top left of the page.

  • Select "Settings"

  • Select "Library links"

  • Type in box: TCS

  • Click on the search icon

  • Click in the small box next to "TCS Education System - ViewIt at TCSES Libraries"

  • Click "Save"

Once you apply this setting, the results returned from a Google Scholar search will display links along the right-hand column to any documents available in their entirety through the Pacific Oaks College Library collection.
