Q. How do I create a link to an article or eBook?

Students and faculty often need to post links to articles or eBooks directly. These links, often referred to as persistent links, stable links or permalinks, may be used in an email, document or Canvas shell.

Permalinks should NOT be created by copying the URL in your browser window. These are temporary links based on your current search and typically will result in an error message when copied and pasted.

Users should refer to the guidelines in How to Create Stable Links to Library Resources for more information. This guide appears on the Instructional Guides tab of the library website.
