Possibly, however, it is also common for publishers to not permit e-textbooks to be purchased by libraries. In some cases, individual publishers establish allowances and restrictions for usage and we are able to add them to the library databases. Your instructor can request purchases and we do make every attempt to add what we can based on availability, usage rights, relevance, and cost.
You can check to see whether a course textbook is available in the library by searching for it in OneSearch. Go to the OneSearch search box on the library website. Click the button for Books. Type in the name of the book title--it helps to put a title in quotation marks so the search occurs as a phrase and not individual words. If we have the book, it will appear in the results list.
